Night Church could not exist without the support of its partners:
The Parish of St. Peter’s
The Parish of St Peter’s has generously donated the use of their building, St. Peter’s Church in the centre of Chester. St. Peter’s is an ideal location right in the centre of the night time economy and is an important part of Night Church’s success in reaching night time visitors to the city.
Night Church has close links with the police and has been awarded £1,720 from John Dwyer’s Crime Prevention Fund.
John Dwyer said “The work that this organisation does is inspirational, and is run completely by volunteers. In my Police & Crime Plan I stated that I wanted to tackle alcohol and drug related crime, and with this organisation providing people with a place to go it’s potentially removing them from situations they may regret in the cold light of day.”
“This project is really worthwhile, and I can see the value it has for those who use it. I want to wish the project all the best, and hope it goes from strength to strength.”
Chester West and Chester Council
We are deeply grateful to Cllr Sam Dixon for supporting Night Church with a donation of £1,450 from the Chester West And Chester member budget award scheme.
